Er is een Cassave Steering Committee (SC) voor het Cassave Value Chain Platform, opgericht met als doel een visie van de Surinaamse cassave-exportindustrie te helpen implementeren, door de uitvoering van het industrie strategische vijfjarenplan. Tevens help SC \u00a0mee het jaarplan van de Surinaamse cassave-exportindustrie te co\u00f6rdineren.<\/p>\n
Het initiatief voor het oprichten van het Cassave Value Chain Platform komt van het Suriname Agriculture Market Access Project (SAMAP). De SC heeft dit jaar onder meer gewerkt aan een Terms Of Reference (TOR), waarin rollen en verantwoordelijkheden van de Cassave Steering Committee zijn vastgelegd. Verder is er een prioriteitenlijst van actiepunten opgesteld die in 2022 ge\u00efmplementeerd moeten worden.<\/p>\n
Op maandag 5 september a.s. is er een vergadering gepland voor uitgenodigden in de LVV SAIS Conference Room, op het terrein van het ministerie van Landbouw, Veeteelt en Visserij aan de Letitia Vriesdelaan, aldus de heer mr.
